Inject a little electricity into your images and learn how to capture 'light trails' on this super fun and rewarding photography workshop suitable for any camera with fully manual settings!
During this photography workshop you will be introduced to some fundamental 'painting with light' techniques, whether it's using bespoke tools, portable lights, passing headlights or long exposures of landmarks. Light painting adds an element of uncertainty, a touch of the experimental in just about any subject. It's an adventure, and it's fun.
This workshop will give you a chance to make images in tricky conditions, and the skills you learn will help you be more creative in other areas of your photography. The group will be limited to six participants so that there is plenty of time for me to give you individual help at your pace and skill level. You won’t need a flash, just a DSLR or compact camera (if it allows you to control the light meter and use Aperture Priority/Manual modes) and a tripod. You are sure to come away with some great images to go with your new skills.
This will be an opportunity to practice your long exposure skills as well as getting loads of fine art style images. Group limited to 10 people for 3 hours, start time may vary depending sunset times. Price £50 per person...
